Côte d’Ivoire Signs Agreements with UAE’s G42 Presight to Improve Digital Public Services

Côte d’Ivoire has signed two key agreements with UAE-based G42 Presight to support the digital transformation of public services. The MoUs focus on modernizing administration and developing a national digital strategy, marking stronger tech partnerships between the two countries.

Côte d’Ivoire has taken a major step toward improving its public services and digital systems by signing two important agreements with G42 Presight, a leading technology company from the United Arab Emirates. The agreements aim to help Côte d’Ivoire modernize how government services are managed and delivered using advanced digital tools, artificial intelligence (AI), and data analysis.

On July 10, 2025, two non-binding memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were officially signed between G42 Presight and two major ministries in Côte d’Ivoire:

  1. The Ministry of State, Ministry of Public Service and Modernization of the Administration
  2. The Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalization

The agreements were signed at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan, during the opening ceremony of the first Ivoire Tech Forum, a new platform dedicated to innovation and digital progress in the country. The event was chaired by Côte d’Ivoire’s Prime Minister, Robert Beugré Mambé.

These MoUs set a framework for future cooperation. The first agreement focuses on helping the government of Côte d’Ivoire modernize its public administration using technology. This includes improving how services are delivered to citizens, making processes more transparent, and using data to make better decisions. The second agreement is about working together on the country’s national digital development strategy, which is aimed at creating a more connected, efficient, and innovative society.

From Côte d’Ivoire, the agreements were signed by Minister of State Anne Désirée Ouloto and Minister Ibrahim Khalil Konaté. Representing G42 Presight was Sheik Muhammad Shameen Hosenbocus, the company's Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Africa and Latin America.

The event was also attended by Ali Yousef Al Nuaimi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Côte d’Ivoire, who showed the UAE’s strong support for this partnership and highlighted the growing ties between the two countries.

G42 Presight is known around the world for its work in Big Data analysis, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions. By working with Côte d’Ivoire, the company will share its expertise to support the country’s digital transformation, which includes making government services faster, smarter, and more accessible.

These agreements are not yet legally binding but show a strong intent from both sides to work closely in the future. They reflect a larger goal: to strengthen the strategic partnership between Côte d’Ivoire and the United Arab Emirates, especially in the fields of technological innovation and AI.

For Côte d’Ivoire, this marks a promising step toward building a modern digital government that better serves its citizens. For the UAE, it shows its commitment to supporting technological development in Africa and building strong international collaborations.
