Dubai’s Global Village Returns with New Surprises, More Pavilions, and Record-Breaking Attractions

Dubai’s Global Village 2025 is back with its biggest season yet, featuring over 90 countries, thrilling rides, live shows, and a cultural showcase like no other. From street food to stage performances, this multicultural festival park is where the world meets in one unforgettable experience.

Global Village, Dubai’s beloved multicultural festival park, has returned for its 29th season with more countries, attractions, and live shows than ever before. Known as one of the region’s most popular entertainment destinations, this year’s edition is set to surpass previous records in visitor turnout, cultural diversity, and immersive experiences.

Spanning over six months, Global Village 2025 offers a cultural melting pot with 27 pavilions representing over 90 countries. From traditional food stalls and vibrant live performances to artisan markets and interactive installations, the park once again delivers an unforgettable experience for families, tourists, and culture enthusiasts alike.

This year’s edition comes with major upgrades, including two brand-new pavilions representing Central Asia and the Balkans. These first-time additions promise authentic products, cuisine, and folklore that offer a fresh dimension to the existing global showcase. Popular returning pavilions such as India, Egypt, Thailand, and Morocco continue to draw large crowds, offering visitors unique cultural insights through shopping, performances, and food.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village, said at the opening ceremony that the focus this year has been on creating more interactive, inclusive, and sustainable experiences. “Global Village is more than an event. It’s a celebration of the world’s cultures, and every season we aim to surprise, delight, and educate. This year’s expansion reflects our commitment to offering diverse and enriching experiences for everyone.”

In 2025, the park has gone more digital and visitor-friendly than ever. A newly launched mobile app allows guests to browse show schedules, book entry tickets, join virtual queues for popular rides, and make purchases through a cashless payment system. Interactive digital maps and real-time updates make it easier to explore the massive venue and navigate peak hours.

Entertainment is one of Global Village’s strongest pillars, and this season delivers over 200 daily performances across various stages. The Main Stage hosts a rotating schedule of international artists, acrobats, musicians, and themed productions, while the Street Theatre zones surprise guests with impromptu acts, dance routines, and carnival parades. Special fireworks nights and cultural celebration days—including Diwali, Chinese New Year, and UAE National Day—are planned throughout the season.

One of the most exciting highlights this year is the expanded Carnival area, now featuring over 170 rides and arcade games. With two global debut rides, adrenaline junkies and young thrill-seekers alike have something to look forward to. There are also more child-friendly areas, themed dining spaces, and shaded family zones, ensuring comfort and fun for all age groups.

Global Village 2025 also shines a spotlight on local and regional talent. The “Young Talent Stage” provides a platform for emerging performers to showcase their skills in music, dance, and theater, while artisans and homegrown businesses have pop-up spaces to present traditional crafts, sustainable products, and modern UAE innovations. This initiative helps strengthen the cultural identity of the UAE while supporting entrepreneurship within the community.

Visitors can expect a culinary journey around the world as well. With more than 250 food outlets, Global Village offers everything from Japanese street snacks and Turkish desserts to African barbecue and Latin American delicacies. New food concepts and food truck zones add to the sensory experience, including plant-based and health-conscious options for modern tastes.

The UAE Pavilion continues to serve as a cultural anchor, showcasing Emirati heritage through falconry displays, traditional weaving, perfume making, and storytelling sessions. Cultural workshops for kids and heritage tours help deepen appreciation for the UAE’s rich history and traditions.

Sustainability is another focus of the 2025 edition. Solar-powered lighting, expanded recycling stations, and eco-conscious design are visible throughout the park. Refillable water stations and sustainable merchandise options aim to reduce the environmental footprint while maintaining a high standard of guest experience.

Health and safety remain a top priority for the organizers. Enhanced sanitation measures, clear signage, and trained staff across the park ensure that all safety protocols meet or exceed Dubai Municipality guidelines. The park has also improved accessibility features, including wheelchair-friendly pathways and sensory-friendly zones for guests with special needs.

Global Village is open every day from 4:00 PM until midnight, and until 1:00 AM on weekends and public holidays. Parking is available for over 23,000 vehicles, including VIP and family zones, with shuttle services and ride-hailing drop-off points for convenience. RTA has also introduced special bus routes from key metro stations and residential areas to accommodate the large daily footfall.

As Dubai continues to position itself as a global tourism hub, events like Global Village play a key role in offering diverse, high-quality attractions that appeal to both residents and international visitors. Whether you come for the shopping, the flavors, the thrill rides, or the cultural vibes, Global Village is a place where the world comes together—literally.

From breathtaking stage acts to budget-friendly shopping, this season promises more surprises, more stories, and more reasons to keep coming back.
