Dubai Opens Applications for Global AI Accelerator to Transform Government Services

Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence has opened applications for the second cycle of its “Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator,” inviting global innovators to develop AI solutions with over 20 government entities. Running 6 Oct–28 Nov 2025, the programme offers full support, no equity requirements, and aims to enhance efficiency, inclusivity, and public service quality.

The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has officially opened applications for the second cycle of its flagship “Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator” programme. The initiative calls on both local and international AI companies, startups, and innovators to partner with Dubai’s government entities in designing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions aimed at transforming public services.

The programme, launched in collaboration with Dubai Future Accelerators—an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation—aligns with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence. This strategy positions Dubai as the largest global hub for AI-powered innovation across key economic and social sectors.

According to DCAI, the second cycle builds on the success of the first edition, which attracted 615 AI companies from 55 countries, resulting in 183 identified AI use cases, with 75 pilot projects already underway. This strong interest highlights Dubai’s growing influence in using technology to deliver more efficient, personalised, and accessible public services.

Four Key Focus Areas

Participants in the accelerator will work directly with more than 20 government departments, tackling challenges in four main domains:

  1. Enhancing Existing Services – Applying AI to refine and personalise current government services, making them faster and more responsive.

  2. Creating New AI-Driven Services – Designing entirely new services to address issues that were previously considered difficult or impossible to solve.

  3. Boosting Operational Efficiency – Embedding AI into everyday government processes to increase productivity and reduce administrative burden.

  4. Improving Accessibility and Inclusivity – Developing solutions that remove barriers and make government services accessible to all, regardless of physical, linguistic, or technological limitations.

Exclusive Benefits for Participants

Successful applicants will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Direct collaboration with government experts to address real-world challenges.

  • Access to senior decision-makers, offering the opportunity to implement AI solutions at scale.

  • No equity requirements, ensuring participants retain full ownership of their intellectual property.

  • Fully sponsored accommodation and travel for the eight-week programme in Dubai, allowing innovators to focus entirely on solution development and deployment.

The accelerator will run from 6 October to 28 November 2025. Applications close on 28 August 2025, after which selected companies will be invited to Dubai for the intensive, on-site collaboration.

Driving Dubai’s AI Vision

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, stated that the programme is part of the emirate’s broader vision under the directives of Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation.

“Our aim is to spark innovative uses of AI that place Dubai among the world’s top cities for delivering agile, AI-powered public services defined by speed, quality, and efficiency,” Al Falasi said. “We want to create seamless, intelligent experiences that save time, improve quality of life, and ultimately help make Dubai the happiest city in the world.”

With its strategic backing, strong infrastructure, and open-door approach to global innovators, Dubai continues to position itself as a leader in applying AI for the public good—transforming government services today while preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.
