Dubai-based Amanda DSilva, a 22-year-old Indian-origin woman with Down syndrome, will appear in the National Down Syndrome Society’s Times Square campaign on September 6, 2025. Chosen from 2,600 entries, her selection highlights inclusion, achievement, and global recognition.

In a heartwarming milestone that reflects the power of inclusivity and global recognition, 22-year-old Amanda DSilva, an Indian-origin woman living in Dubai, has been selected to appear in the National Down Syndrome Society’s (NDSS) annual Times Square Video Campaign. Her image will be displayed on the giant digital billboards in New York’s iconic Times Square on September 6, 2025, in front of thousands of onlookers.

The campaign is one of the largest global awareness initiatives organized by NDSS, held annually to coincide with its Buddy Walk® Program. It showcases inspiring individuals with Down syndrome, aiming to highlight their achievements, break down stereotypes, and promote a culture of acceptance.

Amanda’s photo was chosen from more than 2,600 entries submitted worldwide, a testament to her remarkable journey and the impact of her story.
