After days of flight disruptions caused by rising tensions between Israel and Iran, major UAE-based airlines including Etihad, Emirates, and Flydubai have started returning to their regular schedules. Dubai Airports confirmed on Monday that full operations had resumed following a brief precautionary halt in some flights. However, travelers are still advised to check for delays, particularly those flying to India or connecting via Dubai to certain Middle Eastern destinations.
Dubai Airports Caution Travelers
In a statement posted on social media, Dubai Airports announced that it had “resumed full operations following a temporary precautionary pause.” The alert also warned that flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) might still face delays due to earlier regional airspace closures. Passengers were encouraged to check with their airlines before heading to the airport , especially those traveling to South Asia.
Etihad Airways Updates
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE based in Abu Dhabi, has confirmed that most of its flights are now operating as scheduled . However, services to and from Tel Aviv remain cancelled until July 15 . Emirates Airlines Adjusts Routes

Flydubai Plans Full Resumption by July
Low-cost carrier Flydubai has resumed most of its network services and restarted operations to Damascus . In a statement, the airline said:
"We plan to resume our full schedule across the network from July 1 , following the completion of all necessary assessments.”

Wizz Air
Wizz Air has suspended all flights to and from Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport until further notice. Flights to and from the UAE are also cancelled through June 30 . Additionally, routes from Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to Amman and Beirut remain suspended until the end of the month. Customers can opt for free rebooking , refund in Wizz credits , or full refunds .
Air Arabia
Sharjah-based Air Arabia is also slowly returning to regular flight operations. The airline said it is resuming flights on routes that were suspended due to airspace closures , and advised travelers to visit airarabia.com for updates.
Qatar Airways
Qatar’s national airline reopened its airspace on Monday but warned that some disruptions may continue until Thursday . Qatar Airways flights to Iran , Iraq , and Syria (Damascus) are still cancelled. Travelers booked until June 30 can change their dates for free until July 15 or request a refund.

United Airlines

British Airways
Flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi are back to normal after earlier cancellations. However, flights to Doha remain suspended until Wednesday, June 26 . The airline offers flexible rebooking for customers due to travel up to June 29 , allowing them to move flights to any date through July 13 at no extra cost.
Syrian Airlines
Syrian Airlines has rerouted all flights via Aleppo International Airport , with bus services to Damascus for passengers. The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority has also reopened previously closed air corridors as of June 18.
