UAE Unveils AI-Powered System to Save Over 250,000 Work Hours Every Year

The UAE has launched a new AI-powered government performance system designed to save over 250,000 work hours annually. Using real-time data, predictive insights, and deep analytics, the system supports the “We the UAE 2031” vision and aims to improve service delivery, planning, and future readiness.

The United Arab Emirates has launched a powerful new AI-based government performance system that is expected to save more than 250,000 hours of work per year. The move is part of the country’s ongoing push to improve government services, use technology smartly, and prepare for future challenges.

The new system was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It aims to make the government smarter, faster, and more efficient by using artificial intelligence to support planning and performance.

Smarter Governance with Artificial Intelligence

The newly launched system uses AI-driven data analytics, predictive tools, and deep analysis to help government leaders make better decisions. By reviewing large amounts of data in real time, the system can find patterns, highlight key issues, and predict what may happen in the future.

With this technology, leaders can respond faster, adjust plans as needed, and improve public services. It is designed to support the UAE’s long-term national vision, “We the UAE 2031,” which focuses on four key areas: society, economy, diplomacy, and environment.

Huge Data Processing and Time Savings

The system is expected to handle more than 150 million data points each month, offering over 50,000 proactive insights to decision-makers every year. These insights will help government teams act before problems arise and make smarter long-term plans.

In total, the system could save the UAE government over 250,000 work hours annually, by cutting down manual work and improving how resources are used. This means more time can be spent on improving services, solving problems, and focusing on key goals.

Trained Workforce and Widespread Use

To support the new system, around 200 government staff working in performance and data analysis will receive training. The system is designed to support over 250,000 users across different government sectors.

It will use real-time data to create flexible reports, executive summaries, and forecasts. These will guide leaders in making better decisions, quickly and confidently.

From Adaa to the New Era of Smart Governance

This new system is the latest step in the UAE’s ongoing journey to improve government performance. The journey began in 2008 with the launch of the Adaa System, followed by Adaa 2.0 in 2013, and Adaa 3.0 in 2019.

Now, the UAE has reached the next phase — the Proactive Government Performance System — a smarter, AI-powered framework that helps government leaders stay ahead of challenges and act faster.

Preparing for the Future Today

With this new AI system, the UAE is building a government that doesn’t just react to problems — it predicts and prevents them. This forward-thinking approach is part of the country’s larger mission to create a world-class government that leads with technology, efficiency, and vision.
